THE FIRST FEMALE PLAYER TO WIN A MAXWELL FOOTBALL CLUB AWARD
Krista Quinn had a groundbreaking 2023 season, making history as the first female player to receive a prestigious honor from the Maxwell Football Club. As a key player for her team, Quinn's impressive performance and leadership on the field showcased her exceptional skill and dedication. She helped played a role in starting and shaping Athena Athletics, the largest and most-recognized all-girl recreational and travel flag football team in the state of Pennsylvania. Quinn consistently delivered standout plays and demonstrated a high level of sportsmanship, solidifying her status as a trailblazer in flag football. Her performances have earned her the title of Finalist for the NFL Flag Player of the Year, which is awarded to the top 18u-female player. Quinn's achievements not only highlighted her individual excellence but also paved the way for future generations of female athletes in the sport.
