    The Maxwell Football Club, the oldest football club in America, announced today that Duke head coach David Cutcliffe has been selected as its Collegiate Coach of the Year for the 2013 season.

    The Maxwell Football Club (MFC) announced today three finalists for the Club’s Collegiate Coach of the Year Award. Named as finalists are David Cutcliffe (Duke), Gus Malzahn (Auburn), and Gary Pinkel (Missouri).

    Cutcliffe has led Duke to its first 10-win season in school history and an ACC Coastal Division title. Duke (10-2, 6-2 in the ACC) will play No. 1 Florida State (12-0, 8-0) Saturday at 8 p.m. in Charlotte for the ACC title and the right to go to the Orange Bowl.

    The Maxwell Football Club today announced the expansion of its 2013 Watch Lists for both the 77th Maxwell Award and the 19th Chuck Bednarik Award.

    The original lists were comprised of players who were selected based on their performances during the 2012 season. As the 2013 season has progressed, the Club believes that several additional players warrant attention because of their noteworthy play.
