Tri-State Award
Tri-State Coach of the Year

The Maxwell Football Club inaugurated this award to honor a high school or college coach who has not only produced great football teams, but has also motivated their players to do their very best at the next level, whether it be football or the business world.

The  winner of the 10th Annual Tri-State Award for the Tri-State Coach of the Year is University of Delaware coach, K.C. Keeler.

Keeler is the first repeat winner of the Maxwell Football Club’s Tri-State Coach of the Year award. K.C. won the honor in 2003 when he led the Blue Hens to the NCAA Division 1-AA championship.

What K.C.  says about his season

“I want to make this perfectly clear,” Keeler said. “It was not, ‘A great season, but...’ It was a great season. I’m so proud of our kids, our staff, what we did.  In 28 years of 1-AA football at the University of Delaware, we’ve played for three national championships. This was one of them.”  more...
